In addition to a hospital bag...
I suggest putting aside clothes for you and DH and some snacks, water and advil for DH. I wish I had when we were both scrambling to get dressed last night at 11:45 to go to L&D. I really thought they were coming last night. Poor DH had a poinding headache and went to sleep in his car from 1am-4am.
Everything is fine. I had contractions and they stopped them with a shot. They didn't feel the need to give me the steroid shot for the babies.
5 more weeks, babies! Stay in for 5 more weeks!!

So glad to hear that all is well with you and the twins! It must've been a scary night for you and DH.
Thanks for the tip. At our hospital tour they actually suggested doing a separate small bag for L&D.

I never made it to the hospital tour. I was supposed to go last week for the tour and c/s class but I was on bedrest. I can really do without watching the c/s video though. I don't need a visual of what's going on when I'm on the table lol

Im doing ok, thanks! Aside from being exhausted because I got home a 4:20 and got up for work at 7:45. I'll take a nap on lunch. There was no way to sleep while there. I'm just glad the babies are staying put for now! Ticking time bomb, I tell ya!

I can definitely understand your point about the video,ha! Besides, think of how many women go in thinking they're not having a c/s and wind up with 1 - they make it through fine w/out the video.
The most helpful part of the tour was just seeing where to go, so the positive of last night is that you accomplished that!
Hang in there !

This was my second visit. I'm a pro by now lol Ive only been to the "holding pen" though. I think the actual delivery rooms and ORs are down the hall. I'm sure if I show up they will tell me where to go.

Glad you are ok and YES packing you Dh some extra clothes is a great idea. We did it with this baby, but not with the first and Dh was at work when I went into labor. He is a mechanic and arrived smelling like oil and grease. Thankfully, my mom ran home and got him some clothes.

I agree with the stuff for DH! I would have him pack a small toiletry bag so he can brush his teeth and stuff too.
