What age did you start solids?
I know Im a pain with all these food posts
by solids I do mean cereal as well, thanks

What age did you start solids?
DS started at 4 months but there really is no "right" age. My Dr said anytime after 4 months when DS was food ready. If he didn't take to food then stop and wait. There was no rush and no need to force him to eat. They really do let you know when they are ready. just watch their behavior when you are eating. My DS wanted anything we ate....since he had such an interest in us eating I know it was time for him.

About 5.5 months. Probably should have waited an additional few weeks. He wasn't quite ready yet.

We just went for her 4 month visit yesterday and the ped. said she was ready for cereal.
We went on Friday and ped said same thing. Started her on rice cereal and all is going well but holy smelly gas! I keep thinking she is working on a monster in her diaper but it's just gas, lol. We will do the rice for a month then go to oatmeal for a month and at 6 months start on baby food.

Thanks everyone. I just started DS on cereal at 4.5mths and keep reading up on it and then I regret my choice. I do believe he is ready though. He is able to stay sitting with not much support and he wants everything I am eating lol. I tried the rice cereal and he loved it.

3.5 months we tried cereal, didn't go well he just spit it at me
4 months added some sweet potato and he slowly got he hang of it
