Those of you who use chinese herbs
I started acupuncture two weeks ago and on Friday I was given herbs to take in a tea. I was warned it tasted pretty bad and was told I could not add any sugar to it and only drink it as a hot tea.
I have read on one of these threads before about people adding the herbs to other things to help with the taste factor. I did a search but couldn't find the thread.
I know I was told to only add it to hot water, drink half, then at the end of the day drink the other half after heating it up. But the taste is so awful I don't think I can do it. I knew it would taste bad but it is actually making me wretch and I'm thinking I'd rather take them in a more tolerable way then not take them at all. Any suggestions ladies?

I took Chinese herbs for a couple of weeks during a few cycles and during breaks. I called it mud tea! I was allowed to add a taste of honey or brown sugar to it but believe me it didn't make a difference. I preferred the tea to be warm or cold actually. Do the best you can to get it down, some is still better than none!

Thanks...I added honey to it, a lot of honey, for tonights dose and it's tolerable now though the after taste has a bite. I think I'd rather go back to PIO shots daily than drink this everyday for the next ????? The lengths we go through for a

I got pg the cycle I did the herbs. I find if I put the minimum amount of water with the herbs and mixed it with the royal jelly I get get it down in a couple of disgusting gulps. Good luck.

I was told to take 8 scoops everyday. I found that 8 scoops was horrible but 6 scoops was less strong and easier to swallow.
My accupuncturist said that was fine and that it isn't an exact science so take it as you can.

I took it 2x a day and even though it is soooo nasty I somehow got used to it.
