hospital bag - what are you packing?
A looooooot less than I did last time!!! LOL
PJs including something I could wear home Baby's outfit for home bathroom supplies like I usually take along anywhere if I travel overnight chargers for my phone/camera (will have to be put in last-minute) food (trail mix, snack packs, maybe some snickers bars -- I was SOOOOO hungry last time!!!) flip flop type sandals (which is what I wear all the time so I'll probably just wear them there) socks for if I'm cold
That's really it. I'll put some bras in because that's part of the outfits thing. I'm going to use their disposable undies, the hospital gowns, etc. I'll bring a giant colorful towel or two but mostly for if DH wants to shower there since I'm going to use their towels so I don't get mine bloody.
I brought a blanket for DH last time. Found out today that the hospital now allows both him AND DD to stay over at the hospital with us if we want... not sure how that will go, but it's nice to have the option! I'll probably just send them both home at night so I don't have to pack crazy amounts of stuff to keep DD entertained lol. Unless they have a Blue's Clues channel in the hospital room, the we're golden!

Re: hospital bag - what are you packing?
i couldn't believe how much stuff i packed:
-- travel-sized toiletries for me and DH -- clothes for me and DH -- PJ's for me and DH -- slippers / house socks in case i'm cold -- plastic bags for laundry -- food / snacks (goldfish, granola bars, etc) -- mints / sucking candy (sugarfree was recommended) -- about $20 in small bills / change in case we want to use the vending machine -- a towel for DH to use (i'll just use the hospitals) -- outfit for baby (a footed onesie, mittens, and hat) -- receiving blanket for baby in case it's cold out -- baby journal book i bought so that the hospital can stamp the hand & footprint in it for me -- box of chocolate to leave at nurses station as a thank you -- camera & charger (video camera too if you have one) -- cell phones & chargers -- flip flops to use for showering
i'm sure i'm missing things ... i'll add more if i remember anything else
ETA: oh, also: -- zippered sweatshirt for me & DH in case we're cold -- reading material for me & DH in case we're bored (pre-labor) -- extra tote bag to fill up with "goodies" from the hospital (diapers, bottles, lotions, or whatever they give) -- a couple of bottles of water if we're thirsty -- chap stick
ETA2: -- hair ties -- small mirror in case i want to look at myself without getting out of bed -- makeup

LOL last time I was all packed by 34 weeks. This time I'm coming up on 36 weeks and just don't care to pack. I did buy 4 snickers bars from the grocery store yesterday to put in my bag. I don't want to be starving this time. That was awful!!!

I put some chocolate in my hospital bag, which DH put in the car last week...then it was 95 degrees for a few days, so I'm wondering what it looks like now.
