when should i be worried?

my IVF last month got canceled after the retrieval and our next step is to do a natural FET. about 2 weeks after the retrieval , i got AF so that cycle was 26 days. my cycles have always been between 26-29 days....never longer. now, i'm waiting for AF to arrive again so we can do the FET (we took a month off in between) and AF is FIVE days late. oh, and there's no possibility i'm preggo. not sure if i should worry or if it's normal for AF to be messed up after an IVF cycle? has this happened to anybody before?

Re: when should i be worried?

My cycles were always about 5 days longer after an IVF cycle. It is normal after coming off the injectables. Hopefully it should be here any day!

It's not uncommon for the cycles to become longer. It happened to me. Call the re and explain the situation. Best of luck!

Re: when should i be worried?

I don't think you should be worried but aware that cycles may sometimes be off after a medicated cycle. Mine were sometimes wishy washy but not always. Just speak with your RE about monitoring.

I'd give it another few days before you call your RE. Chances are AF is coming. IVF can throw your body off a bit.

Re: when should i be worried?

I just got AF today - about 5 days late - I had a failed IVF cycle July/August - I think it is normal for your cycle to be messed up after all the meds you were on.
