Releasing of an Egg
Is there a drug out there that you can take that makes you release an egg. I thought that was called the trigger shot? Someone explain it to me!

You take drugs to mature a follicle (or follicles). When they are mature, you use a trigger shot that basically guarantees ovulation. However, not all follicles have eggs.

the trigger shot will release the mature eggs and can also finish the maturation process and release eggs that are almost mature.
it takes other meds ie. clomid, follistim/gonal-f, to produce the follicles and mature the eggs in the first place.
