Typical daily diet?
I am stuggling trying to figure out what to eat. So far I am not having any food adversions, so anything goes, I just can't figure out how to plan my daily menu and I son't feel like I am eating enough. Any suggestions?

Re: Typical daily diet?
I typically eat greek yogurt w/granola & dried fruit / honey for breakfast. Then if hungry some fruit (i.e. grapes) as a snack a couple of hours after that.
For lunch I like chicken salad sandwich w/avocado on wheat; it's filling. Sometimes salad but I like to have a big lunch.
I have chocolate in the afternoon
Then usually lean meat, sweet potato & veggies for dinner.

Typical daily diet?
I bring a lot of picky things to work with me including - prunes, dried apricots, trail mix, carrots, apple sauce, sugar free pudding cups, goldfish. I like doing that for work because I can pack it in the morning when I am most motivated to eat well, and then I have no choice but to eat it because it's all I brought. For dinner I always have meat, a whole grain carb, and a veggie. Breakfast is hardest for me - i usually do string cheese and crackers in the car on the way to work. I snack on popcorn, berries, ice cream. I try to choose items that I will enjoy and have a health benefit. Instead of sweets at night I've been having a small bowl of lucky charms. It's less sugar than cookies and it is fortified with vitamins, plus I get a serving of milk. I basically follow my body - when I'm hungry I eat and when I'm not I don't. I'm not actually sure at this point if I have answered your question......I hope something was useful.

Re: Typical daily diet?
I haven't had any food aversions or cravings so my diet hasn't changed too much other than making more of an effort to have more dairy. Monday - Friday I'll have: At home: Whole grain Toast w/ a little peanut butter or toasted english muffin w/ 1 slice of cheese Yogurt String cheese Salad w/ grilled chicken or tuna fish sandwich or soup for lunch Fruit or nutrigrain bar Dinner is usually a meat, veggies and rice

Re: Typical daily diet?
I wouldn't worry about not eating enough. Eat what you can, trying to be as healthy as possible. In my first trimester I had lots of food aversions and always felt full by dinner time, even if I hadn't eaten anything since lunch. The dr said not to worry about eating enough.
The baby only needs about 100-300 calories a day, so I'm sure you're eating plenty. Just no dieting!
And agree that the hunger will strike. I'm just over 17w now and there are some days I don't feel like I can eat enough...and others I'm just not that hungry. As long as the dr says the baby is growing fine, I wouldn't worry.

Re: Typical daily diet?
Thank you all so much, everyone's input has helped. From what I read I am on track. I think I need to have more "snack" items, veggies, fruit, dif yogurts etc. Thanks again.

Exactly. I don't think you should be worrying about eating enough, but eating healthy food.
