bath fittter or reglazing...again???

So, we live in a co-op and dont plan to spend more than 4 more years here, max. We redid the entire bathroom a couple of years ago but we didnt replace the tub bc it was a 90 year old cast iron tub and $$ to take out and I thought reglazing it would be fine since we werent staying here forever. Well, it peeled a few months later and I had the contractor come back to do it again but again, it started to peel and now its really bad, almost the whole floor of the tub is peeled off. Im not asking the contractor to come back again since he didnt do such a stellar job the first time.

So now my options are either re-glazing with a company that has a warranty or doing bath ftters. Dont know which way to go or who is reputable, would appreciate any advice or recommendations!
Thanks to anyone who took the time to read this!

bath fittter or reglazing...again???

I had mine glazed 6 months ago from 1970 pink to white & love it. No chipping or peeling under 5 yr warentee. Price it out but if tub is true thick fast iron i would have reglazed. Good luck!

I did bathfitters in my co-op... just the tubs was about $1K... entire enclosure would have been almost $4K... I think you would be better off glazing. I was sorry I didn't just replace the tub, it would have been cheaper.

With that said... it looked great, and help up fine, cleaned well, etc. I just thought it was $$$
