PhotoPass Classic vs +
I'm not sure if we need the plus.
I have a 4 1/2yo & 2yo.
Is the plus worth it?

Re: PhotoPass Classic vs +
I'm thinking about getting the plus. I know I'll def end up buying the classic, the plus just adds some of the rides (I know my son who is 3 can't ride most of the rides it offers but I know I'll want a pic of the ones he is able to ride), and it includes some of the character meals. Its $169.00 if you order it in advance as opposed to the $199 if you order it there.

That's what I'm wondering too.
I think we have 2 of the meals, & I think they can do maybe 2 of the rides. So I'm wondering if it's worth it.
Of course I went to buy it today & it's giving my CC an error So it gave me time to think about it I was tired of waiting on hold.

You so are
The regular PP (which I consider a must) is only $50 less. I know I say "only" but each additional photo, were you to buy it separately would be 17 bucks, so basically 3 photos and it pays for itself.
We're going to do PP+ in October. It didn't exist on our last trip, but I will definitely report back, though NewlyMrs will be able to report back before me!

Sorry to hijack your thread!
Can you explain this to me a little bit? I tried looking online at the Disney site and they didn't have much of an explanation (and I know my mom loves to order all of the pics and is coming with us).
TIA

Re: PhotoPass Classic vs +
PhotoPass is Disney's photo service. Photographers are positioned around the parks and resorts (in front of the castle, at character meets, etc) waiting to take your photo.
You can then elect to buy the photos as prints, electronic copies or other items (mugs, etc). it's very popular to order all of the photos taken from your trip on a CD. It's best to pre-order the CD and save money. To pre order the class photopass, it's $119.95.
There is a new version called PhotoPass Plus which is everything included in photos pass PLUS - photos and prints from certain character meals, on-ride photos for certain rides, and additional Disney gallery photos for $169.95 pre-order price.
I think if it's a first visit and/or you'll be doing character meals, it's worth it.

Ok - makes sense! I'm familiar with the Photopass - we had one last time - but, I didn't know about the pre-ordering aspect.

You save $50 pre-ordering the regular and $30 pre-ordering the Plus,so definitely pre-order it!

Also, if you tell the photographers that you pre-ordered a CD, they will take more photos

Can I ask another question - is this a big secret? When you go to Disney's photopass site - it doesn't mention anything about it - I had to google it to get to the link.

Re: PhotoPass Classic vs +
It's not a secret, but it's never been easy to find the pre-order link for some reason.
I guess they want you to pay full price
