Are there any places that do something extra special for celebrating?
My DD will have just turned 2 & my DH & I are celebrating our 6year wedding anniversary.
TIA!!!!

Re: Birthday & Anniversary in Disney
What you need to do is go the Guest Services on Main Street in Magic Kingdom and get pins, they are free. They have anniversary pins, my first visit pins and bday pins.
We went on our HM in 2006. We got extra turns on rides, special desserts, things like that.
In 2007 we went right after I turned 30 and I milked that Happy Birthday pin the whole week. When we went in the 50's Prime Time Cafe for lunch the waiter brought over a dessert for my bday and had his whole section sign a birthday card for me. Also when we were leaving Epcot one day one of the employees called Mickey on some internal phone and he had a special bday message for me. (it was a recorded message, it was cute though)
When you call and make reservations for meals tell them you are celebrating a bday/anniversary as well.
A lot has to do with the employees and how busy they are.

It's 1st visits for my DDs too.
I didn't make the reservations, my "specialist" did, but I'll look into the pins when we get there.

Make sure it is listed on your reservation. I know DH has gotten balloons & a card from Mickey in our room numerous times (we always go during his birthday week and we also got engaged on his birthday). I don't know if it's just because we usually stay Club Level or if it's because I have them note the occassion.

Jennifer, your anniversary, birthday, and first visits are listed on your resort reservation and all dining reservations. You'll get your celebration buttons at check-in at the Resort, no need to go to Guest Services at the parks. I've got you covered!

YES! It's the only time adults can dress up so do it. Just think comfort as well as cuteness!

You're never too old for dress up...I just can't find anything I love! I hate store-bought generic costumes.

I'm a fan of this one but it kinda defeats the whole "comfort" thing, LOL!

Re: Birthday & Anniversary in Disney
Love the Cindy! BUT my oldest is being her & my youngest snow white.
I really wanted Jasmine, but I hate the one I'm finding online. I even tried for a "belly dancer/Arabian" and I don't think the color would have matched.
I have a sewing machine & have yet to learn to sew or I would have made one
Jen....those are GREAT!!!!!!

I was going to get dressed up too, but it was becoming too much work. Instead, I got us Disney Halloween shirts from the Disney Store that we'll wear and my son will dress up.
