what parts to replace on a breast pump-I KNOW I asked this already
but i cannot remember $hit these days and also ccan't find my post :(
got a PIS from a friend... what do I have to replace?

LOL you totally did ask this before. If you go on amazon you'll see "replacement part kits" you can order. It's basically tubing, membranes, shields (which you want to get appropriately fitted ones anyway), bottles, and valves. The shields are usually separate but the other parts you can order together.

Thanks mama... 2 questions how do I know what size.. i mean really lol!!
also, do i have to get bottles? Can I just pump into the storage bags?

You might not be able to tell the right size until after the baby is here. They fit me at the hospital.
Playtex makes an adapter kit so you can pump directly from the medela pump into drop-in bottles/bags. They're basically just attachments to screw onto the bottles so you can use them along with the medela pump, but if you plan to use drop-ins they're great.

I don't think you can pump straight into a bag -- I think you have to pour from the bottle into the bag because it needs something with air pressure to suction into while you're pumping.
