"Breaking in" new shoes?
Do you find that when you get a new pair of shoes (closed toe, not sandals) that you have to break them in for a bit before they are comfy? I feel like NO shoe fits me right out of the box. No matter what- my feet kill me and I end up with blisters in all kinds of spots on my feet- for the first few times I wear new shoes. I have problem feet to fit- it is SOO rare to ever find a comfy shoe at all- but the first few wearings are TORTURE for me.

Yes I feel the exact same way. I even find this is true with sneakers. I have yet to find one shoe that just fits exactly right and is comfortable before breaking them in.

Re: "Breaking in" new shoes?
For this reason alone I am freading the end of flip flop season :(
My feet go through torture when it comes time to go back into closed shoes - new and old. I get blisters, the back of my ankles get tortured...
The only pair I did not have any issues with at all were my Cole Hahn
I am getting them in nude for the fall...they are worth the $150 price tag

Re: "Breaking in" new shoes?
Glad it's not just me. I really was beginning to think my feet were abnormal. Not one shoe feels comfortable for me. Then by the time I break it in, it usually looks like cr@p and is falling apart and ready for the garbage.
I too, am dreading not being able to wear flip flops anymore They are the only shoes that don't torture my feet

Re: "Breaking in" new shoes?
I have the same issues. i find wedges to be the most comfortable. I read if rub rubbing alcohol on the inside of your shoes and wear them with socks around the house they will break in more quickly and easily

Re: "Breaking in" new shoes?
I always fantasize about being super rich and having someone custom make shoes for my feet! WHY is it so hard to get shoes that don't hurt? I don't get it!
