is there such thing as a monitor with two cameras for two different rooms to see on one screen ?

Yup, you would need to buy an extra camera. We have the Motorola monitor w/2 cameras & you can add a total of 4.

but then the two rooms would be on different channels of the main screen ? or can u see both at same time ? sorry if dumb ?

i was wondering the same thing...thinking of upgrading to a video monitor with #2 coming and I'll need 2 cameras too...

Summer Infant Sleek and Secure

This is the only one I know of that let's you see more than 1 on the screen at the same time. It has a 4-way split screen.

I have a Summer Infant camera - not the one mentioned above - with two cameras. The screen switches back and forth between cameras every 8 seconds.

I just had an audio monitor for ds 1 and don't know how I lived without the video.

We just bought the Motorola at bru yesterday it was 299 for the handheld part and two cameras we had a 10 percent off coupon. There is one room on the screen at a time but you can push a button to see the other room or push another button so that it automatically switches every minute to the other room without you doing anything. So far, we really love this monitor. I like that you can switch to the two rooms, talk to the baby or your dh in the room ask him if he needs help getting my toddler back to sleep and you can pan the room with the handheld.
