nursery furniture q- EDITED WITH A PIC!
All my furniture going to be white but I'd like the glider to be in espresso. Will that look bad?
The reason why is I'm not sure if we will always keep the glider in there or move it to the LR where we may use it more often. In the LR all my furniture is dark.

I think that would look nice. Maybe you can keep a white pillow and throw blanket over the back or side of it to tie it all in.

I think it will be a nice contrast. Our furniture is espresso and our glider cushions are beige. Would the cushions or just the chair be espresso?

i love mix and match colors and woods...
i wanted to badly to have a blue dresser for my son with his espresso crib but it didnt work out.
with my DD on the way, I am using the same espresso crib but we have antique white furniture to go with it.
do whatever you want - not everything has to match perfectly!

I also have white furniture in the nursery, but am getting the glider in espresso. I think it will come together beautifully!

The chair would be espresso, the cushions would be beige like the rug.
The rest of the furniture (crib, changing table, bookcase) would be white.
Blue walls (BM antiguan sky)
Bedding, decals and artwork will be primary colors (UP theme!)

I think it'll look good! Our chair is espresso also, but the cushion color is what stands out rather than the color of the wood. And I think it's a good idea to get something that will match the LR and nursery. Right now we have our glider in the LR bc it feels good to sit in when my back hurts!

I think it will look good! It will add contrast since the main colors are all lighter. I think it's also easier to mix tones when you go with clean lines... when you get into more ornate stuff it starts to look a little cluttered IMO. I really like your inspiration!! It's going to be a great room for the twins!

I think thats a smart choice. I registered for a white glider/ottoman to match the white furniture and then realized I shoulddn't have because nothing else is white in the house. too late now.
oh well.... Good thinking!
