Maternity clothes and bra question

Since I'm newly pg I have a dilemma. About a year ago I either threw way or donated most of my clothes because they were old or just didn't fit anymore. Now I have to go fall clothes shopping and not sure how many new things to pick up. When did you switch to maternity clothes and bigger bras?

I'm just over 15 weeks and I just started wearing matenity jeans/pants, I can still wear a lot of my normal shirts and maxi dresses. Regular jeans just became really uncomfortable, I tried the belly band and I felt like it wasn't doing anything. There are some women who don't need maternity clothes until probably much later than that... As far as what you need I guess it'll depend on what you have to wear to work etc. I got two pairs of jeans, two pairs of black pants, 4 dresses, 3 plain tanks and about 10 shirts/blouses/sweaters I can wear casually or to work... The dresses and a lot of the shirts still look way too big on me but I'd rather have them now then wait and order them when I'm busting out the my regular shirts.

Maternity clothes and bra question

i"m 16 weeks and just went shopping for maternity clothes. I have the belly band too...but my jeans were just too tight around my hips that the band didn't help all that much. I fit in a lot of my tops and dresses. But I needed to buy more comfortable clothes for work and fall and especially bras! Hopefully they will work for most of the fall and into the winter.

i needed new bras at 7 weeks! i am 16 weeks now and just started wearing maternity pants on Monday. I can still fit into my regular pants but the maternity ones are definitely more comfortable so i plan on getting a few more pairs this weekend. in terms of shirts, i have a lot of flowy summer shirts so i havent needed to get new ones yet. but will pick up a few more fittd ones when i go shopping so that i can finally start to show off the bump

I think I started needing maternity pants around 12 weeks but just for comfort. I didn't show until at least 18-20 weeks. Before 12 weeks I would just zip my jeans half way and tuck them because maternity pants were too big. I didn't like the be band. Even at 12 weeks, I had maternity jeans pinned 2 inches on both sides because they were too big. I can finally fill them out now at 28 weeks.

Sadly, I didn't need new bras since I still have no boobies.

I'll be 14 weeks tomorrow and broke out the maternity clothes the last couple of days. I was using the belly band the last couple weeks, but it was just getting uncomfortable with some pants. I only gained like 3 pounds, but there is certainly a bump and I definitely need more room in my pants, none on them close.

I can still wear all my regular tops tho! I also have not had to buy any bras yet... but as of yesterday the girls are looking like they might need new ones soon!

Around 10 weeks I started wearing the bella band on and off.

At 12w I bought my first pair of maternity pants for work but mostly stuck to dresses (non maternity).

By 14w I was fully in maternity pants, finding the bella band too uncomfy.

I'm almost 16w now and I'm in maternity pants and skirts full time but most of my old shirts and dresses still fit.

I only bought fall and winter maternity clothes, and I'm still in my old bras.

Considering you just got your BFP, I think you'll be fine for at least another month or more. Assume you'll need pants first, but those pants will get you through the fall and winter, until you're due. And you'll eventually buy shirts but you'll be layering. If you need fall clothes now, just buy longer, flowy shirts that can easily be worn with maternity pants. Fall maternity clothes with a cardigan become winter maternity clothes. Don't overthink things too much. You'll see how your body is reacting.

i haven't started wearing any maternity clothes yet. most of my pants now are tight around the waist so i'll zip them up and tuck in the button flap or wear the pants i have that have some elastic on them on the waist. still fit into all of my regular shirts. bought some pants for the fall but not many. haven't actually used any of them yet
