Does Winthrop have an LC on staff?
Just wondering if anyone knows if Winthrop has a lactation consultant on staff to help with BFing. Thanks!

I saw Denise Reilly when I was there in February. She was very nice and helpful. I didn't ask, but she came to my room to see me since I was BF.

Yes & there's also a breastfeeding class in the nursery everyday at 10 or 10:30am. I went the first day & I was the only one there so it was great one on one help. Then I had some probs so I went back & spoke to another LC after the class ended & she gave me more one on one help. I really feel Winthrop was amazingly helpful when it came to BF. Besides the classes & great LC's, the nurses were all very supportive & helpful. I don't know if I'd have been so successful BF'ing (DD will be 4 months next week & we r going strong!!) had I not received such awesome help & support. I <3 Winthrop!!!!!

Yes, a few of them. The one that's primarily in the NICU saw us, and was a big help. There's another one that works with the "regular" maternity patients.

Does Winthrop have an LC on staff?
the one that worked with the NICU was great...... She right away realized the cones were not a right fit and got me a larger pair. She also gave me some soothing products.
