What was your protocol?
Hi all,
What was your ivf protocol if you have/had low amh? Also, did ivf work for you? If so how many attempts and how low was your amh? I could use all the positive vibes right about now

I didnt have low amh but i had high FSH.... iIt was 26, idk if this will help you or not.... but i was on BCP for 3 weeks, Ganirelix, Lupron, Follistim (very high dose of Follistims for 9 days) only had 6 follies, 4 eggs, 2 mature, 2 fertilized... both were put back 2dt (4 & 5 cell) and both took, but we lost one at 7ish weeks. Im 15w today!!!

I have borderline FSH and low AMH. My first cycle was cancelled due to poor response. Second attempt protocol: BCP, lupron flare started at the same time as stims, super high doses of Menopur and Bravelle (4-5 vials of EACH) for 10 or 11 days (can't recall). 6 retrieved, 5 mature, 2 fertilized. Transferred both on day 3. I am 16 weeks pregnant with a singleton.
ETA: Fertilization was via ICSI

I'm sorry you're dealing with this. I know it's painful and scary to hear about ovarian reserve problems.
They had me on 300 follistim and 150 menopur for 11 days this most recent time. He also did an estrogen priming protocol and co-culture to improve egg quality. I have borderline AMH (.95) and the embryology report showed 3 great 8-10 cell embryos with minimal fragmentation and high ratings and a bunch of clunkers. This was out of 11 retrieved, 9 mature, and 7 fertilized through ICSI.
Last time I had not done EPP or co-culture, but he did a mix of femara/letrozole (oral) and 275 follistim with 2 menopur, which he increased when he started the ganirelix. I stimmed for 12 days. He got 15 eggs, 11 mature and fertilized through ICSI. I ended up with 2 high-quality 8-cell embryos and a bunch of clunkers.
These were both antagonist protocols. Lupron killed me when we tried that and the cycle was canceled for poor response.
I am not pregnant. However, both doctors from those 2 IVF cycles (Davis @ Cornell and Mukherjee @ RMA) believed it was implantation failure and not egg quality.

Good luck to you. I'm praying for 15 eggs! I'm on follistim and menopur too. What's a co-culture?
