Booster or convertible?
Time to put dc 2 in a convertible carseat. Dc 1 is 2 years old and 29 pounds. Should I get him a booster and give his convertible to my younger... Or buy another convertible?
What do you all think?

Re: Booster or convertible?
Absolute gov't minimum for a booster is 4 years old and 40 lbs. I don't rely on gov't minimums, so I have DC in their convertible until at least 6yo.

Re: Booster or convertible?
I think the OP meant a front facing carseat/booster like the graco nautilus or the britax frontier. Both are good options since your child is over two. Both convert into high back boosters and the plain boosters. I bought my DS1 a frontier and DS2 got the blvd.

A 5-point harness seat that eventually converts into a booster will be good for you to buy now. Unless your current convertable has high limits that your ds1 will be able to last longer in it. When it comes to safety, children are best left in harnesses until they reach the maximum limits for them.
