Headaches
Is it normal to be getting headaches more often than before I was pregnant? Before I got pregnant I used to get a bad headache/migraine around the time I OV, so once a month. Now being pregnant I seem to be getting them a lot more.
I'm only two months along so I am curious to see if there was anyone else suffering from headaches! I'm assuming its because of all the hormones going on in my body. Is this what is in store for me the rest of my pregnancy?

Did you suddenly cut out caffeine? A lot of people experience headaches from caffeine withdrawal early-on. A little caffeine could also help the headaches. Are you drinking enough water? They recommend 64 oz a day when you're pregnant. Dehydration is a huge part of it too. Hormones can do it, but sometimes there are also simple solutions.
You can also take tylenol (1 extra strength or two regular strength) if you need to, but I can understand not wanting to do that all that often.

Re: Headaches
I had vicious headaches in the first few weeks due to caffeine withdrawal. They eventually went away, but I definitely get more headaches now that I did pre-pregnancy.

Headaches
For the first trimester the smell of coffee make me sick so I stopped drinking it and had the worst headaches. The only think that seems to help is taking tylenol and drinking water. I still get headaches from time to time, but not as bad.

Re: Headaches
I actually slowed down my caffeine intake before we conceived because I knew I couldn't drink as much as I used to when I did get pregnant.
It could be the water. Water seems so blah to me lately so I've been trying to find ways to drink more. I've been making it flavored water to try to get myself to drink more. Before being pregnant I used to drink tons of water, now not so much and I know thats bad!
I did take Tylenol this time but that was after my doctor told me to take the regular strength. Last time, I didn't take anything because of course the Tylenol I had in the house was extra strength. When I took it last night I couldn't get myself to take the 2 pills. I know my doctor said its fine to take but I still worry.

Re: Headaches
Headaches are fairly common from all the extra hormones surging in your body. Plus, the weather isn't really helping.
Another big cause, though, is dehydration. Try to drink at least 8 cups of water a day - more if you're outside or very active.
If water doesn't help, you can take 2 regular strength Tylenol or 1 extra strength.

Headaches
Yes!! I have been getting terrible migraines since being pregnant. The only other time I got headaches was when I had my period. Definitely normal, hang in there!

I'm so glad I'm not alone! I keep trying to stay hydrated but sometimes just the thought of drinking water makes me feel nauseous!

Headaches
Ive been having headaches every single day for the past 2 weeks. I'll be 24 weeks on Sunday. I check my BP at home and its normal.. so I guess its just hormone related? Maybe stress?

Re: Headaches
I had a week of wicked headaches around the end of the 1st trimester but it has subsided. Now I only seem to get sinus headaches.
