Winery/Vineyard Vacation-Long Island
Im looking at booking either Hotel Indigo in Riverhead or the HarborFront Inn in Greenport.
I know nothing about the areas etc, so dont know if either place is a good place to stay to be near the vineyards, restaurants, spas, etc.
Help!

Im staying at Hotel Indigo for a wedding next month and I think its far from the vineyards. If you can check out a b&b I think there are several right near the vineyards

Greenport is a great area! Im not familiar with being right in Riverhead.

Hotel Indigo has a very good restaurant and bar; however, I believe it is a bit further from wine country than is Greenport.
As another poster said, how about some of the b&bs out there? DH & I stayed at the Harvest Inn last year for a weekend, and we LOVED it.
