Re: pack n play

We got the Graco Pack and Play with Cuddle Cove seat. My husband just put it togther last night and we love the way it looks and the cuddle cove seat is a great addition since it comes out and it vibrates for times when the baby will just nap in it. It also has a changing table on it, since she will be sleeping in the bassinet part for the first few months in our room, thats a great feature so I dont have to move her to change her, just put her on the changing table.

ETA: I think its $200.00

Best thing I got was a Go Crib instead -- it's an inflatable crib and fits in a backpack. Love it! Doesn't have a bassinet feature though. Definitely for travel, not a place for the baby to live the first few months or anything.

I wish I'd gotten a PNP with no features except the bassinet. No newborn napper (DH didn't feel safe with it), no diaper changing station (I always change on the floor or couch), none of those silly things. Ours was like $130 and I should've just gotten the $60 version. Live and learn.

We bought the simple PNP and were very happy. If you ever plan to bring it other places - it's much easier to just pack a simple one and forget the bells and whistles. It's also much lighter! I could barely figure out how to get the bassinet feature packed in the bag - I can't imagine how anyone handles the other things...

We registered for (my parents purchased it for us) the BabyBjorn Travel Crib Light. It's less than 11 lbs, has a one-step setup and comes with a carrier. It seems WONDERFUL and gets fantastic reviews... Obv haven't used it yet though. It is $300.

Re: pack n play

This is the one we have. Didn't realize how much we needed it until we got home from the hospital. Thank god it took dh a short time to put it together.

Since we live in a house and her bedroom along with her changing table is on the second floor it's great to have this in our livingroom. She naps in it with no problem. I also bought something from bru to attach to it so I can put her diapers wipes etc. Pic is from pinterest. Hth

this is actually the one I really wanted! I just thought it was so $$$ and didn't know if we needed all the bells and whistles! Now you have me leaning towards it again!

registered for the $100 one with some bells & whistles (the one that has the newborn napper)

to me, all those extras aren't worth an additional $100.
