Talk to me about Animal Kingdom Park!
Will my 2 yr old enjoy it? What are some attractions/shows for her? Just trying to see if a 30 min bus ride from the Contemporary is worth it just for a morning character meal?

Yes, your two year old will enjoy it. Both my 2 and 3.5 year old liked it. Not as many rides for them, but we did spend a full day there.

Re: Talk to me about Animal Kingdom Park!
My girls both loved the AK. There is a lot for them to do. I don't remember it being quite a 30 mins ride. It seemed shorter than that from the Poly and we shared buses with the Contemporary for both AK and HS. I would definitely keep it on my list with a 2-3 year old. The Lion King and Finding Nemo shows are great. My girls like the 4D bugs life movie, loved the safari ride, the dinosaur ride (like dumbo), there was a cute meet and greet with pooh and friends, there is the boneyard, then it will depend on height as to what else your DC can do (38 inches I believe for the rapid ride but keep in mind you will get soaked). There is a lot to do at the AK IMO. But you can do most of if not all in a 1/2 day. We usually park hop for dinner.

We're planning on going AK next week (if there is no hurricane ) with our 2yr and almost 6 yr DS. We booked the character breakfast in the morning and plan on staying most, if not all, day.

The character breakfast there was great. My DS loved the boneyard (they get to dig in the sand for fossils) - it's underneath a big climbing structure (easy to climb). As stated previously, the shows are great. I think it's worth the trip over.
