Another Belly Shape Post and How People Annoy Me
I had 2 gender ultrasounds at Madonna and both time I was told 100% girl. I have sonos every week due to SUA. I think SOMEONE would've noticed a penis. However, at Uncle Guiseppes this evening I was BOMBARDED by a man and his wife. Conversation went like this :
"Thats a boy"- Man
"Nope, Girl!"-Me
"No thats definitely a boy"-Man
"Umm unless you know more than a ultrasound, its a girl."-Me
"Dear, ultrasounds aren't always right. We were told girl and we have 4 boys."- Man
"Technology has greatly improved sir"-Me
"Nope, they're wrong you're having a boy."-Man
Sad thing is, I am now almost 36 weeks pregnant, and a lot of people guess boy and now I'm questioning the gender of this baby. Am I nuts?

No, they're nuts!!!! It's really hard to miss a penis. It's a lot easier to see a phantom penis and be told boy incorrectly. You're having a girl. They should stuff it.

Don't worry. We didnt find out the gender and everone told me I was having a boy. The day before I went for my c section some lady at Target told me I was having a boy and that " she is never wrong!" I wish I could find her to tell her we have a beautiful baby girl!! Lol

What is even more annoying is when I was pregnant with my son no one ever said to me... omg so and sos aunts uncles brothers sons girlfriend was told she was having a boy and oops, she had a girl. But when pregnant with a girl... EVERYONE has a story. Its soooooooooo annoying!

People just don't realize how farkin annoying they are. If someone was insisting so much with me I'd probably would have said dude stfu because my dr with over 20 yrs experience sees it's a girl twice a month for 9 months. I think he knows more than some obnoxious moron going off belly shape in a super market.
Before we were even thinking of kids it came up in convo that dh and I wanted to find out. They were all "oohh but it's a great surprise and sonos are wrong". That person luckily hasn't made a peep about us finding out.

every single person guessed or TOLD me that I was having a boy, even though I had two sonograms that said girl. I was so paranoid a boy would pop out! She was still a girl at birth.

That's happened to me before too. I'm also having a girl and have had both family members and strangers tell me with certainty it's a boy. They always looks doubtful when I tell them it's actually a girl. I really think the belly shape thing is just an old wives tale.

i feel your pain... everyone tells me i am having a boy too, i even had a woman i didn't know at a friends baby shower tell me i was having a boy and when i told her no, it's a girl she told me , "no it's definitely a boy.. after you give birth have someone call me & tell me i was right"
everyone carries differently, don't question it
