Swordfish and breast feeding ?
I am freaking out a bit - I had swordfish for dinner tonight, not a lot but a nice size piece and am nursing DD! Are we not suppose to eat this ? I'm reading mixed reviews and now worried that I have harmed DD!

Re: Swordfish and breast feeding ?
According to the U.S. FDA:
Q: "What if I eat more than the recommended amount of fish and shellfish in a week?" A: One week's consumption of fish does not change the level of methylmercury in the body much at all. If you eat a lot of fish one week, you can cut back for the next week or two. Just make sure you average the recommended amount per week.
So you're ok.
