montauk restaurants?
we're going to montauk mon-thur next week with the kids (1 and 4). Can you recommend some restaurants?

how well behaved are your kids?
if they're well behaved, i'd say go to Harvest. 
There's also Gosmans and Manucci's.

The Inlet is my top recommendation - phenomenal food and great sushi if you like that (I don't)
West Lake Chowder House - amazing!
St. Peter's Catch (casual, order at the counter and eat outside on picnic tables but great prices, unbelievable seafood and BYOB which is awesome!)
Rushmires - used to be Second House Tavern, very good
The Harvest, a staple, great cuisine, family style
Dave's - delicious, closed on Wednesdays and you'll kill yourself getting a reservation but worth it!
The Crow's Nest - has been completely renovated and was excellent
Mannucci's is consistent, good Italian food and seafood
I would recommend reservations wherever will allow it!
And I say skip Gosman's ... Overpriced, food just OK, and with all the amazing places to eat there, who needs them anymore? The same owners own The Inlet and you are sooooooo much better off there!
Enjoy!!! DH and I have timeshare at Gurney's so we have gone every August for eight years now :)
