Beaches Turks & Caicos
Hi ladies... So instead of going away by ourselves for our 5 year anniversary, we both decided we feel guilty and selfish about leaving our kids, therefor, we want to bring them here instead of Mexico! That being said, my daughter will be 2 months shy of 3 years old when we go, and my baby (due November 16th) will be 6 months old..am I nuts for wanting my 6 month old there? Has anyone bought an infant here before? I'm a little hesitant.

Not sure anymore. We were supposed to go this past spring but they shut the resort down for almost 2 weeks because of a norovirus. Once I learned more about it I did not want to expose my child to that. They also handled the entire situation horrily and wouldn't give us our money back until I fought up thru management for 2 weeks. It was a nightmare.

I would but after the PP's experience I wouldn't want to deal with them either. I had a great experience when I went and there were infants to big kids loving it there!

Uggh, I had no idea this happened and I was about to book a second trip there. Now I see some information about it on tripadvisor. How long after their closing were you booked for? I heard that they did a great job during Hurricane Irene so I am disappointed to leanr about this.
Personally I was not comfortable taking my baby out of the US when he was very little but when I went there were kids and babies of all ages.

I did hear about the norovirus oubreak, but I've had nothing by great experiences with the Sandals/Beaches brand, so I would still go. They have things available for all ages. This is definitely still on my list for vacations with kids.
