what time should i do ohana? itinerary enclosed!
on the last day we are doing Animal kingdom around 9am/10am. We plan to do lunch at AK and get back to our hotel for a break by 4/5pm. Is that enough time for AK? i wanna check out ohana for dinner, what time should i make the reservation for that night? is that feasible?
We are staying at Wilderness Lodge with a 3.5 year old and a 1 year old.
MK is open till 12am that night. maybe just maybe we will head there after dinner , throw the kids in the strollers, let them sleep and walk around.
what do you think?

Tuesday 9/11 hotel by 3pm/ Hollywood Studios by 5ish/dinner at Hollywood &Vine 6:00pm/ Fantasmic at 8pm-
Wednesday 9/12 MK @9AM/Lunch at park/hotel break around 2/3pm/dinner at hotel 5:25pm/head back to MK for fireworks
Thursday 9/13 Epcot by 9am/lunch at park/dinner at park
Friday 9/14 Hotel day/Hollywood studios by 5:25 50s prime time cafe
Saturday 9/15 MK @9amish/lunch at park/hotel break3-5pm/dinner at Castle at 6:30pm
Sunday 9/16 Animal Kingdom/hotel break/ dinner at Ohana?/walk around MK one last time?
Monday 9/17 hotel day check out /pack/chef mickey’s for breakfast 9:30am

Lisa is this for THIS year?
If so, you're going to have a hard time finding dinner at 'Ohana at ANY time. I'd see what's available and go from there.
I like to do 'Ohana 1-3 hours before Wishes so I can either watch from the restaurant or from the Poly beach after dinner.

Also a 6pm dinner at H&V and an 8pm Fantasmic! is cutting it close. you're going to have to BOOK IT and probably won't get great seats (unless it's a fantasmic package).

Because I happened to be looking for it tonight I can tell you that 9/16 is sold out and 9/17 has only 9:55 available.
Did you make your other ressies?

Hi Jennifer! Thanks for checking.well we r going this September. All adrs have been made already except the Ohana. I made the adrs back in may. Also yes, we have the fantastic package. We should be ok , right? Dinner at 6 and head over by 730.

go right ahead!!
keep in mind i scheduled MK on days that were not extended magic hours.
Jennifer gave me that tip and i've seen it a few times on other boards.
Each day , one of the parks will have extended hours and that park tends to be the most crowded.

i guess i didnt make any reservations b.c i didnt know what we wanted to do that night after AK.
i am pretty sure since MK is open till 12am, we will prob want to go visit it one last time. makes sense to eat somewhere at MK or one of the resorts nearby.
i guess i will just have to keep calling to check on cancellations...

Don't give up - persistence does often pay off. We have moved around things and gotten popular places in the past - but your best bet is at the 180 day mark. But I find that if I call everyday or check the computer every day - even call when down there - sometimes something will open up. I think more things are opening up last minute with the new credit card guarantee deal. Now it seems that they release the calendar at the 6 month mark which makes it easier - there was a time they didn't have the calendar up that early and would have to make ADRs blind. I try to guess what nights I want to do something and then play around with those plans by what I can and can't get.

How about Boma?
Animal Kingdom Lodge is so beautiful so it's a gretplce to be and Boma has awesome food.
I should add that I have gotten a walk in at 'Ohana. If you want a table you literally have to stand in a line. When we got there, there were 5 or 6 groups head of us, but none we were willing to actually stand behind the partition and wait. Since we were, we got a table after about half an hour.

What about Whispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge? You'll already be there, it's a fun end-of-trip venue, and it'll give you time to pack as well.

we have a res for whispering canyon already!!
i am going to keep trying to get into 9/16 ohana!!!
and maybe even just go there and wait.
