What do you think of the name
Arielle? Her middle name would be Hope.
DD is Lila. I don't think sibling names have to "match" necessarily, but I do want a nice flow. I didn't want anything super common, but don't really like kree8tive names either. Our last name is 3 syllables, very Jewish, and ends in "Ski."
FTR... we didn't get the name from the Disney movie.

I loooooooooove it. One of my favorite names ever! I actually thought of Ariel for #2 but decided it was a little too girly because of Arielle.

I like Arielle a lot. When I was a teenager I was friends with an Arielle and I never once thought of the Mermaid.

Getting picked on for it doesn't worry me. Kids will find a way to pick on anything. Fiona, Belle, Jasmine and Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) were all Disney Princesses, too.
People just have funny ideas about where I got DD1's name. If I get "Oh, did you get Lila's name from General Hospital??" one more time, I may toss a sippy cup at them. If we go with Arielle, I'm probably going to get 1000x more.
eta: We like Ariella a lot too but it's kind of a mouthful with our last name.
