Carseat not fitting well on new car?
We have the Britax Roundabout and never had an issue with it in our previous car (Land Rover). We just got the 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee and the car seat kinda leans forward a bit. I think it's because of the headrests (which are not removable). We reclined the backseat as much as possible but the carseat still leans forward enough that poor DD's head is always falling forward when she naps. It's driving me bananas. Any suggestions?
TIA!

Get it checked out / reinstalled by a pro.

I would get it inspected asap. I'm pretty sure you shoudlnt' recline the seat of the car at all when installing carseats. Also, is the base of the carseat level, or is it possible that you have to add a pool noodle or rolled up towel underneath to get it to be? (both of which have been suggested to me by a car seat installer for my DS's seat that is still rear facing)

Yes that's the problem...the base isn't level. It seems like the front of the base is digging into the seat but the back is like raised a little bit. I did suggest to DH that we take it to our precinct to get it inspected. I will do that this afternoon. Thanks!

Not all precients have a certified car seat installer. People will do it (heck, I will do it for a friend or whatever) but it still might not be 100% correct. CLICK HERE for a map with names and numbers for locations that there is a certified installer.

Definitely a problem with the non-removable headrests. We have the same issue in my parents car.
