UGH I need to vent about clothes for a second...
My sister bought an Herve Leger dress on Outnet - a $1300 dress for $600. Because she's in Canada she shipped it to me and I'm taking it when I go visit next week. Of course I tried it on and I WANT ONE but there is no way I can justify the expense (my sister is still supported by my dad...what does she need an Herve Leger for you ask? Good question ). I'm so envious now because I actually think it looked good on me (and I NEVER expected that!)

And thanks...you really don't see the pooch that you see in the pic IRL...the picture isn't as forgiving as the dress is. DH had quite the reaction and he almost never comments on these things.

I love the fact that you tried on your sister's Herve before she could!! Such a sister thing to do!! Hahaha

The dress looks amazing on you. And although you can find similiar dresses out there nothing will compare to that one. His dresses are made to perfection. They hide everything and flatter your body so much.
Sorry, I was no help but I have tried his dresses vs others and nothing compares. Tell her it got lost somewhere..

This is really the first time in my life I would have felt confident enough to even try it on, and definitely the first time in YEARS I have fit into something of my sister's. I also agree that there are similar/copies out there but nothing is quite like the Herve. I will say that dress is HEAVY. Just picking it up...the weight of it is ridiculous! But you put it on and it is like WOWZAS. Now I understand why celebrities love them!

However, I feel like those dresses are one of those weird things that are TOO recognizable .....KWIM? They all look the same. I don't know, I don't see the appeal - other than the fact that it looks great on you ......but I'm sure a million things would look great on you.
And I love the fact that you tried it on before you sister even touched it -

The dress looks AMAZING on you!! I have seen dresses like that at bebe, but that is a Herve Leger!!!! I like the tell her you lost it idea or maybe you can share the dress!

Unfortunately, since she lives in Toronto this would be difficult - the cost of shipping it back and forth over the border would totally outweigh any benefits.
I may tell her it got confiscated at the border on my way into Toronto
