getting pregnant after birth control pills
I just stopped my pills this month and am wondering how long did it take for some of you to get pregnant after stopping them?
(ive been on my pills since having my daughter June 2008. always had regular cycles on and off them.)

everyone is different. if you have no problems it shouldn't take long for you to conceive again...Good Luck!

With #1 i was on BCP for 7 years...stopped them on July 5th got my BFP on August 2nd.
With #2 i stopped taking them on december 13th, got my BFP on January 10th.
So it was easy for me both times, but its different for everyone!

getting pregnant after birth control pills
I was on BCP for 12 years. I stopped taking them in January to try and get my body back to normal (we used condoms for 2 months). Got BFP in April after our first time "officially" trying.

Last pill in the pack was taken on 12/21 and we  on 12/25. Here I am, a month from my due date.

Oh wow! This seems hopeful! First time around I was off them for 7 months but wasn't trying to get pregnant until September 07, and well one try and I was pregnant. I would be expecting AF (I hope she doesn't come lol) on August 23rd as long as my body sticks to the 28 day cycle. Im just in the waiting period right now. I started the opk's but I started on CD12 and I never got a positive opk. So either I started opk late or I never ovulated. Time will tell. ;)

For me it took about 6 months; but that was probably more b/c of poor timing on our part. Not always getting to BD during the fertile window...doing it too early or too late. I charted for a few months and got a good understanding of my cycle so we wouldn't miss the fertile times.

I stopped around January :) so I would say about 8 months but I also had a cyst on my ovary for a little.. not sure if that affects anything

It's going to vary by person and by pregnancy. With DD1, I was off the pill for a year (TTC for about 6 months) before getting pg.

With my 1st DD I came off BCP in Feb and my cycle regulated immediately. We tried in April and got pg the first month. We were very lucky.
