Mine did. If you have prenatal coverage, it should cover it. Check with your insurance company.

anyone insurance not cover the NT Scan?
I have United Healthcare and they covered the NT scan. I get 2 u/s during the pregnancy..the N/T scan and the anatomy scan. I got a bill yesterday from LIJ for the NT scan for $237 and called my insurance and they assured me I woudln't be responsible for that payment. That they are covering the scan; and anything extra the hospital bills is not my responsibility. Did you call your insurace company to determine what would be covered for the pregnancy?

Do you live in NY? In other states I've had friends not be covered because technically it's not necessary Never knew anyone that lived on LI/NYC to not have it be covered though.

Re: anyone insurance not cover the NT Scan?
My insurance covered it, however, it may not be the actual scan they're talking about, if they are referring to the blood work associated with it. My insurance didnt cover it because it was with a different lab than what is preferred. It all worked out with the lab though, because they dropped the $200 lab bill down to $50 or $75 i think it was, once it got denied from the insurance.
