What are beta numbers?
So far I got a bfp but sono was done real early and didn't see anything so I have to go for another sono Friday but they sent me for blood work and they just called me and said my beta results were 980 and we have to wait to get results from tomorrows blood. I have no clue what any of this means but am told it should double by tomorrow? Is 980 low?

Easier than me trying to explain:

ETA: 980 isn't low, but it's all relative. Depends on how far along you thought you were or should be.

do you know when you conceived? im surprised they would do a sono so early. most OBs wont do it until at least 6w, and most wont until 7w+. if your beta was 980 you are probably 4w+. its not really about the #, its about how it rises. it should double or close to it every 48 hours.

Re: What are beta numbers?
Yeah m pretty sure I conceived on the 26th but my period was vey light last month and I tested positive like 8 days early so dr was concerned I was already like 6 weeks and might of had a miscarriage so that is why did sono but I think I'm only 4 weeks pregnant now.
