Moms of 3 and 4 month olds...
Can you share your 4 month old "schedule"?
DD has been all over the place lately with her naps and feedings... She's been fighting the bottle and only taking a few ounces every 4 hours, so I started to stretch out her feedings to 4.5 hours and its been better.... Her naps are been rare lately. She fights her sleep like none other. Help!

4 months and won't take naps either!! She is great at going down for the night but fights her sleep like crazy during the day.
she will fall asleep but wake up as soon as you try to put her down.
MIL watches her and she doesn't really have a schedule but she tries to get her to nap but this lady does not want to stay asleep for nothing.
I'd like to read some other responses too
eta: the only thing she will do like clockwork is have a bottle (5 oz) every three hours. She used to nap till around 11am/noon after we dropped her off at 7 30am but now she does not.

I feel your pain! Its hard. My IL's and my mom watch her during the week but only for a few hours, not the entire day. If I feed her less than 4 hours apart, she won't take the bottle.
I'm going to try the schedule the first poster posted above... She used to go down at night without a problem, but the last 3-4 days have been rough....

Re: Moms of 3 and 4 month olds...
DD2 is 3 months and she's on a eat, play, sleep routine. She's usually up for 1-2 hours before she needs a nap and eats every 3 hours.
So if she wakes at 8am I nurse her, she "plays" til about 9:30am, then will nap from 9:30-11am, then repeat like that all day. Ends up being about 3 naps a day.

This is similar to how our day goes. I BF on demand and just follow DD's cues. She's up for an hour to an hour and a half at a time.
She's usually up between 8 and 9. She eats, plays, and takes her first nap after about an hour. Then we just repeat all day long! She usually takes 3 or 4 naps. In the evening she usually nurses and 6 and then is up until her next feeding around 8. If she's in a good mood she may stay up a little while, if not we get her ready for bed right away. She's usually in bed by 9. I did dreamfeed for a while but stopped and she STTN for a month. Lately she gets up once. Oh, and if she wakes before 7am I feed her and she goes back to sleep until 9 or 10.
