Favors? What age is the usual cut off
Having a B-day party for DS, kids attending can range from 1 - 13...do I give a favor to every kid? do you stop if they are over 10 or something? No idea how this works and don't want to offend anyone.
Thanks

I would say to have something for everyone. For the older ones, oyu could give them school related things like mini notepads and cool pens or something

Re: Favors? What age is the usual cut off
I have to say this was a mess for DD's 1st bday party. I wish I jsut went with my original plan which was to just give everyone, kids through adults, a cupcake as a favor. Then I started listening to other people chiming in about how I needed favors for the kids, blah blah blah. So I go nuts trying to figure out favors for the different age groups, of course the older kids thought they were "too old" for the favors I got, ugh! We gave one older kid (this is DH's side of the family, so I don't even know the ages) an Itunes gift card at someone's suggestion, which he was thrilled with but I think the older kids who didn't like their favors were all wishing they got them too.
So unless you know these kids really well, can you just do a food favor and call it a day? I find that cutting off at a certain age gets hairy in families and some younger kids think they're older than they are. Sorry this turned into a rambling rant!

For his 1st we did cookie favors for everyone, kids & adults and you are right it was sooo much easier and now for his 2nd I was thinking favors for kids only, but as you mention I think it's going to be more of a headache then anything.
Thanks
