Does she usually ride in a stroller at all now? My niece is 4 and never does anymore so it would be pointless.

DS is 3 and I was contemplating getting a double stroller, but honestly he never sits in it anymore. I was planning on getting the piggyback where he can stand and ride on the stroller instead.

Probably not, but I would do a sit and stand or something similar so the 4 year old can ride on it.

i wouldn't, but i would consider the sit and stand like pp have mentioned.

No but I would get a buggy board that attaches to the stroller.

Somehow my almost 5 1/2 yr old convinced me we need a double stroller - b/c HE will need to be in a stroller too . . .

I have detered him to a Sit N Stand and he loves the idea. Not sure I will get it though b/c he is alread over the weight limit.

I wouldn't. My DD will be 2 1/2 when #2 is born and I don't plan on getting one.

it really depends on the older child. my son will be 32/33 months when this baby is born and I am going to get a double. My son loves the stroller so it is a good investment for us.

at 27 months now, my son has never once argued about being in the stroller.

some kids hate it.

DS is 3.5. We got a sit and stand. We've only used it once since DS2 was born 1 month ago, but DS1 seemed to like it.

I wouldn't but only b/c I think the double strollers look terribly annoying! It's hard to get through doors to stores and it's a lot bulkier. Plus, do you really foresee a 5 yr old sitting in a stroller? Seems like a really short term purchase to me.

No.
DD hasn't used a stroller since she was around 3 . Def check out sit and stand or even a stroller where you can attach a buggy board.

My DS is almost 4 and my DD is 2.5 and we just got a new double a few months ago We take them on local trips all the time and DS loves being in the stroller so it was a good investment for us. Totally depends on the kid.
