Which Breast Pump
So I called edgepark and unfortunately we dont qualify for a free pump. We're going to be buying it out of pocket but with our flex benefit money.
I was wondering which pump did you ladies end up registering or getting?
I was looking at the Medela Freestyle Hands-Free Double Electric Breast Pump but i hear the straps are useless so you have to buy a hands free bra for it.
Any suggestions and reason why you choose the pump would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Which Breast Pump
I have the freestyle and have been using it for the last 9 months. The strap connectors are annoying and I used them 1 time. I use the hands free bra when pumping. I recommend the freestyle because it is so light and portable. You can easily clip it onto your clothes and walk around your house and do other things without having a plug.

Re: Which Breast Pump
I have the freestyle and really liked it. The straps are useless, but buying the strapless bra isn't a big deal, and it's really helpful. Another option is just to cut small holes in an old sports bra, I think that works even better.
The freestyle is great b/c it's so light, easy to transport, and you don't have to have it plugged in.

Which Breast Pump
I have the freestyle and I love it. I agree with all the positives listed by previous posters.
Get the Simple Wishes Hands Free Bra (on Amazon), it rocks. I love being able to walk around and do various things while pumping.
It's a pricey pump but I registered for it and got it as a gift.
Get it, it's AWESOME!

Re: Which Breast Pump
I was thinking of getting the freestyle hands-free too but now that I am reading these reviews, I am wondering.
I am hopefully going to be able to pump while at work. Will that be annoying to have to change bras before each pumping session?
Any BTDT advice?

If you wear a nursing bra you do not have to change bras. Open up your shirt to expose breasts only, unsnap the nursing bra and affix the nursing bra.

Re: Which Breast Pump
all my friends have the medela freestyle, but when i went to BBB, she said the medela advanced is better because it has stronger suction. i'll need to do some research on my own to decide.
