Salt helps morning sickness
Has anyone else experienced salt helping MS? For some reason sugar makes me nauseated and ill, but salt brings me back to life. Last night I ate a massive deli pickle and started feeling better. Then, I had a slice of pizza with a few sips of diet coke and I totally felt like myself again. I had energy to clean and felt happy. Interesting, right?

I don't know about the salt, but sugar makes me nauseous every time. For the most part I feel fine now that I've hit 13 weeks...except if I have my favorite candy (swedish fish) and then I feel awful all over again.

Re: Salt helps morning sickness
I never had morning sickness I would get a little nauseous if I didnt eat first thing in the a.m. But I found smelling any type of citrus helped when I would feel nausea coming on!

Salt helps morning sickness
In my first trimester carbs made me feel better. Didn't matter if it was salty or sweet.

Yes!!! During my first trimester I pretty much lived on microwaveable soft pretzels. The combo of carbs and salt was always exactly what I needed.
