When did you feel comfortable enough...
I didn't have a shower with my first so I bought most of my big tickets items by 20 weeks. I did research beforehand, but made the purchases by 20-25 weeks. This time around I am 25 weeks, and just bought bottles and some little items. I am really behind with this pregnancy.

Re: When did you feel comfortable enough...
We registered as soon as we found out the sex of the baby. I didn't buy anything until I was like 32 weeks.
EDT: With this one, we will start early since we will be buying everything. Maybe around 20 weeks.

When did you feel comfortable enough...
started registering around 13 weeks (they told us the gender at the NT Scan) but didn't tell anybody about the registry until recently (i'm 30 weeks now)
i haven't really bought much so far, but it's more because we're planning on moving sometime this month and i didn't want to have extra stuff to pack/carry.

Re: When did you feel comfortable enough...
I registered at about 23/24 weeks, but I started the research way before that.
I started buying a few outfits for the baby just this week and I'm 27 weeks.

When did you feel comfortable enough...
Since this is my third, I have most of the big items needed. But between 28-30 weeks Caters was having a huge sale so I bought a slew of 0-3 month clothes since we are having a girl this time. Now at 38 weeks I picked up a few bottles(since I couldn't find any in storage!) and nipples, plus new tubing for the pump. I wish I waited on the clothes since the baby is measuring so big and will probably fly threw 0-3! Luckily I kept the tags on and Carter's has an great return policy so I can exchange for bigger sizes.

When did you feel comfortable enough...
We were registered after we found out the gender which was 20 weeks. We didn't buy anything for the baby until after the shower and it was mostly stuff we didn't receive but needed.

I haven't purchased anything for the baby yet; but at 17 weeks I went to BBB & BRU to start my registries. Now I'm just researching and adding things as I go along.

About 20 weeks. After my shower invites went out. I figured people would be buying things anyway.

When did you feel comfortable enough...
Around 19wks when we found out the sex. We didn't make the crib up at all (other then putting it together and throwing the mattress in) until he was born. That was a superstition thing from my mom.
