Food question
Hot dogs? Ok/not ok? My doctor just gave me a packet, but never went over anything. All she said was no raw/undercooked meat, no sushi, no soft/unpasturized cheese and no alcohol (duh) I knew all this from the beginning
Any info would help - thanks :)

You don't want to eat too many of them bc of the nitrates, but here and there at a BBQ should be fine!

I"ve been eating hotdogs in moderation. It's hard to avoid them this time of year! But I only have maybe one or two a month. I just make sure they're well cooked because they can have the same bacteria that builds up on cold cuts.

I eat them now and again just make sure they are very hot...and I can't even have one too often now cuz i get heartburn

I won't eat hot dogs but for me it's easy to avoid. I maybe eat 5 hot dogs a year when I'm not pregnant.
