Myrtle Beach for Chistmas?
Has anyone been that time of year? I know not everything would be open, but would it still be worth it? I would pick something with an indoor pool and I know DH would golf as long as he could. We have a timeshare that will expire at the end of the year and I'm thinking of driving down to MB. The airfare anywhere that week is just too much. And my BIL and his gf may come to and stay at my in laws condo, so we would have people to hang with.

My DH has gone in Nov and Jan and it's hit or miss - sometimes it's really nice - in the 60s and 70s, and sometimes it's freezing (in the 30s - that year he didn't pack a coat and was freezing).

We would drive, so I would definitely pack for a variety if weather. Did he say it was dead that time if year? I would assume places like Boardway on the Beach would remain open?

I live in Myrtle Beach and the crowds definitely pick up over Christmas when school lets out. Broadway and Barefoot are still open with later hours (they go to 6pm in January) and the weather is iffy. It's NOTHING like summer or spring break crowds though!
