Made dh give me my shot. I couldn't do it. I was shaking too bad but it's done.

my Dh did all of mine my first cycle. then i did them myself every cycle until i had to do PIO for IVF. theres nothing wrong with having your DH do them until you are comfortable.

they hurt less when you do them to yourself, IMO
I would NEVER let me DH do them...lol

It wasn't bad at all and dh was great about it. I hate needles so I'll just have dh continue doing them

My dh did most of my injects, except lovenox. He started out doing them for me.. and after soooooo many cycles, when I finally said I would do them myself, he said doing them for me made him feel involved.   So, he just continued doing them for me and I never complained!

This is how I feel. I think he would inject them too quickly.

WOW! He is awesome! My DH would faint if he had to give me my shots. though he was in the bathroom with me when I did my first SQ shot and IM shot. Watched me have a total anxiety over it and then I was like...Oh that was easy. But for years I paid a nurse to do my IM shots. No way was he doing it and no way was I doing it. And then last cycle I decided I could not deal with someone doing them and I did them myself. And the IM shots were so easy, I did them better than the nurse. No bruising or lumps or anything.

ITA. i cannnnnot imagine DH giving me a lovenox inject, it would prob burn so much cause he wouldn't know how to slowly inject.
