DD not loving baby cereal
DD will be 6 months next week and I just started giving her cereal a week and a half ago. Started giving it to her at night and she was gobbling it up. Started giving her "breakfast" over the weekend and that went good as well. Now since yesterday, she won't open her mouth for the cereal. Do you think maybe she just doesnt like it? Should I forgoe the cereal and just start on veggies & fruits??

Are you giving her rice cereal or oatmeal? If you are giving her rice then try oatmeal. Rice is very bland & she might want something with a little flavor. My ds hated rice cereal but gulped up oatmeal.

You can forgo the cereal for now, but you might want to go back to it mixing the fruit or vegetable in because of the added iron in them. My Dr said that iron in infants is extremely important.
I agree with the other poster about changing cereal. If you are already on oatmeal try barley or mixed grain.

DS only like oatmeal and it took him a while to like it. He never took to rice or barley

DD not loving baby cereal
My son hated oatmeal, and I refuse to give him rice. I give him fruits and veggies and sometimes mix it.

DD hated plain cereal too, but if you've ever tasted it, you'd understand why. She was a much better eater with fruits and veggies. There's no rule that says you have to give cereals.
