I don't know all of them but I can tell you NYU is one and was one before this whole thing hit the media. I delivered 6 weeks ago at NYU and th push wha definitely for breastfeeding...hard.
I can't find the 27 hospitals listed anywhere!

NSUH manhasset is not in NYC so it is not part of this whole thing. I delivered my 3rd there 5 months ago and I was not pushed to breast feed at all. This could also be because this is my third child and no one was going to pressure me to do anything I didn't want to do though! Also, they leave a small bottle of champagne in the room which you can not drink if you are BF'ing so I don't think they truly care what you do. Also, formula was never locked up - there was always some in the bassinet.

Here it is...on the Latch on NYC website aka the only source you should trust for information on this initiative. Sorry if that sounds snarky but I feel like I haven't read one article based on the facts of the website.

thank you so much!!! when i read nyc i really assumed just ny not just the city, so good to know bc if i get pregnant with my third i would be delivering there and i delivered my first two there and i remember them treating me just as you described it! thanks so much you made me feel a lot better lol

Go for a third! the new maternity ward is absolutely beautiful! all private rooms!!!
