what time to start a first b-day party
We are having a house party for our dd's first birthday. It is going to be about 30 ppl all family and a couple of friends. What time should we start it? I was thinking 12:30 taking into account dd's morning nap and afternoon nap.

We started DD's party at 1pm because of her naps. I say go for whatever time works best for you!

Re: what time to start a first b-day party
I'm assuming you will want to serve lunch so I say 12:30.
I think we had ours at 12. If I remember correctly, I went to the restaurant early to set up and DH brought DS after he woke up from morning nap.
We had a joint party for both boys this year at 10:30am. DS#2 woke up from his morning nap in the middle of the party. The party was at our house.

We're having DS's first bday part from 12-4. I'm crossing my fingers that he has a great nap from 10-11:30!
