If you recently got a new mattress and have the total encasement
did you also get a mattress cover? The encasement I have is water proof, protects against bed bugs, mites, all typesvof allergens etc....I dont know if getting a mattress cover will be a waste of $...

when i had the encasement, i left the mattress protector-cover-thingy off. it seems like it'd be too bulky.
