How would you handle this? Landscaper related

Ok so in may we put in an outdoor carpet in my yard to make a play area for dd. the first time the landscapers came after we put it down we noticed the front piece right when you open my gate to get in my yard was all shredded. At first we didn't know then realized that most likely landscapers did it Bc they probably didn't realize it was back there as they opened the gate and dragged back the mower.

Now today I look back there (they came before) and another whole area is shredded). Now it wasn't like that this morning I am assuming it had to be the landscapers but I did not SEE it.
I see how they drag the mower back there
What do I do????? I am really annoyed!

The first time it happened I let it go and told them to please be careful. I didn't call the owner.

I would totally call the owner. I'm sure it's obvious that it was caused by a mower.

I would call and complain. If the company is insured they should pay for it to be replaced.

This. I would call. I'm sure they didn't do it on purpose but they were careless and you should complain. However, if it was an inexpensive rug (<$100) then it would depend on the damage especially since you would probably get rid of it for next year.

It sounds like the mower is on when they go into your yard already and it's tearing it up. I really hate landscapers that are not careful. They are in such a rush to get things done. I would definitely call and complain and have them pay to replace it.

I agree, I would call the owner or talk to the guys when they come again. I would ask for it to be replaced and also make a plan for how it will be taken care of in the future. Is it something they can roll up when they come -not sure how big it is or if it is fastened ot the ground. I would ask they be more careful or move it when they come.
