Name spelling with poll
DH and I are set on naming our  McKenna. We can't agree on a spelling though.
We both love the way it looks spelled McKenna, and DH is set on spelling it that way.
I think she will hate us later on when she ALWAYS has to spell her name for ppl since it's not common to have two capital letters in a first name.
So even though I love it spelled McKenna, I'm leaning towards Mckenna (just to make her life easier).
Which spelling would you choose?

Do it the way you like best!
She will probably have to spell it for people either way...as some people will stick various vowels in for the second letter.
I think it looks prettier w/the K capitalized too!

My friend just named her baby Mckenna. She spells is with the lower case k but everyone always spells is with the capital K. She even had to request a new birth certificate cause they misspelled it. I do like the lower case spelling better though.

I know two McKenna's. Both with the capital K.
Also the American Girl doll has a Captial K.
I would not think to spell it any other way.

That's my daughter's name and we spell it McKenna. I never thought of spelling it with the lower k. Both look nice !

Either way she's going to be spelling it for people! I'd stick with McKenna, it looks weird with a lower case k. In fact, I think more people would be inclined to spell it with an upper case K anyway.
