If your ins didn't cover the NT scan ....
Did you still have it done? I didn't have it with both boys because my midwife didn't see it necessary and since I switched practices it was offered but my ins does not cover it. Not sure what to do?

hmm im surprised it is not covered, my dr said its a standard test now that all insurance covers. did you double check that recently?
i would think its an important test to get done, however i know people that opt to not have it so its a matter of personal preference

Yes I just called the ins company and any genetic testing needs to be medically necessary. My office said it is comsidered cosmetic or something like that.
