What time does your 6 month old go to sleep?

We have a great schedule during the day but DS has stopped sleeping through the night. We did transition him in the crib but he slept through the night for a few nights. About two weeks ago he just stopped. I am going to post his schedule, please tell me what I am doing wrong! I do keep him up so my DH can see him but I will stop if that is the problem!

6:00 am wake up 6oz bottle
8:00-10:30 nap
11:00 6oz bottle and food
1:00-2:00 nap
2:30 6 oz bottle
3:30-5:00 nap
5:30 6 oz bottle and food
8:00 bath
8:30 6 oz bottle
in crib by 9pm.

If I have tried to put him to bed earlier, he just wakes up earlier.
His wake ups are midnight, 2:30am and 5:30am until we pick him up. I do NOT pick him up during the night. I put his pacifier back in and go back to bed. The problem is we are in a one bedroom so as he fusses, so do weChat Icon Nobody is sleeping around here!! Thanks for any help!

What time does your 6 month old go to sleep?

DS goes to bed between 8-9. He was sleeping through the neight but stopped last week. I think it is just a phase because nothing changed and if we keep him up later it won't make a difference. Changing the amount of food/bottles does not make a difference. the only thing that might be wakign him is teething.

it's probably teething and also all the new milestones that are happening fast and furious (Sitting up, heightened curiosity ect). DS slept terribly...TERRIBLY during his entire 6th month....we seemed to have just turned a corner (he just turned 7 months), paitence...it will pass!

DS is 8 months but has been going to bed at 7:30-8 pm for the past 3 months or so. He is usually a good sleeper but I did notice that teething caused him to wake up more often. That could be one possibility. The other is that he might be getting ready to drop that third nap. I see your DS naps for 5 hours each day. My DS dropped his third nap about a month ago (there was a funky 2 week transition period where his schedule was all off) and now he goes to sleep much better at night.

I agree about the naps. Does seem like he is sleeping a lot during the day. My DD is 7 months and she will eithe have two naps or Three quick naps (like 20/30 minutes). Although she did that on her own and I know its not very easy to keep a sleeeping baby up, lol.

DD went on and off sleeping through the night until 8m. pretty much once 8m hit she started STTN every night and is still going strong at 14m. before 8m she would STTN for a few weeks, then stop for a few weeks, then some nights STTN and some not. it was a crapshoot!! now shes a great sleeper. its prob not anything you do, its just a phase.

I don't even think the first nap is a nap, I feel like it is finishing his night sleep! For instance, last night he was up all night and then we finally took him out of the crib at 6am. He fell asleep drinking his bottle and I placed him in the swing at 7am and he is still swinging 4 hours later!! He is completely passed out. I don't know if I should wake him or leave him alone. I don't know if its teething because he isn't showing any signs other then putting everything in his mouth. No excess drooling, rashes, fevers etc. I also don't feel anything when I place my hand on his gums.

What time does your 6 month old go to sleep?

DD #2 has been on this sleep schedule since she was 4 months old; she will be 8 months next week and we have slowly been moving her bedtime back a bit to see if she can handle staying up later.

This is what she does when she is home:
7am: Wake Up
9am-11am: Morning Nap
1:30-3pm: Afternoon Nap
6:45pm: Bedtime

On daycare days (M-Th), her naps are all over the place but her bedtime and wakeup time stay the same.

I am trying to see if she can handle a 7pm bedtime; it all depends on what she did at daycare that day.
